今天
我去參加了英文演講比賽

再比賽的前一星期的禮拜五吧
我們先公佈了題目
題目:The Most Important Thing For Teenagers
這個題目我想了很久
想來想去就只有讀書最重要
但這聽起來很老套 it's a cliche!
所以我就四處詢問大家的意見
有朋友啦 友誼阿 電腦,電玩的
還有一個令我傻眼的答案---"愛"
最後我還是選了電腦作為主題
因為我是 e世代
(感謝各位熱心提供我意見的人~謝謝啦!)
我在極短的時間內寫出了演講內容
並交給Sam 修改
修改後
我也是在極短的時間內背完

背完後的隔天
我去找Sam 還有 Paul先是唸給他們聽
情況慘到不行~
不過
因此我英聽成績加了2分~
Oh~ya~~

就是今天
終於要上台了
不過還好
那個光仁樓七樓我已經去過2,3次了
不是很陌生
但難免緊張
我在外面stand by的時候(對了!我抽到4號)
為了想平復心情
我就在外面已稍大的聲音唱了Rudolph,the red-nosed reindeer
上台之後
山姆一直用這詭異的笑容看著你
令人不禁想傻笑起來
我想
他對每個人都這樣 每個人也跟我一樣想傻笑吧
哈~

在演講的過程中
我自己一直胡亂加一些字句
害我念錯
不過算了
沒差
本來就"志在參加"(這只是唯一能自我安慰的想法)
噯~

下來之後
坐在椅子上後
我也沒有將手掌放在胸口上
就可以明顯的感受到心臟在跳動
"撲通!撲通!撲通...!"
那種感覺還蠻HIGH的~

讓我和猩猩最傻眼的是放空
她竟然強到爆
還唱個咧~
真是匹黑馬......
不過大部分人都沒把稿子朗誦完
就Thank you very much 啦

不過讓我感覺可惜的事
是我沒聽到講評
都是因為要參加一個沒意義的會議
(參加英文演講就是要聽講評啊
真是的...)

但我也跟猩猩決定好了
明年這裡再來相見一次
再來玩一次


Good afternoon, Ladies and Gentlemen:

My topic today is The Most Important Thing for Teenagers.

In my opinion, computer is the most important thing for teenagers.
When you hear this, you might probably say that: Ya, it’s a cliché!
There are too many teenagers who are already immersed themselves in
on-line games and chat room. Some of them even failed their study
just because of the computer.

This argument might be true. But when I say the computer is the most
important thing for teenagers, I didn’t mean the on-line games or MSN.
What I am talking about is the power to search and obtain all kinds of
information and even knowledge by using computer. Try to imagine that,
you don’t have to actually go to Egypt, just by surfing on the Internet;
you can see the whole view of Pyramid. Or, you can easily get the instant
result of the midterm election of America by reading the news on the web.

Using computer correctly and wisely is surely the most important thing
for teenagers.
